    PITTSBURGH — There was little that the Penguins could prove against the Bruins on Wednesday night. They weren’t going to make up for the loss in the Eastern Conference Finals last season. They weren’t going to get back that Stanley Cup trip.

    PITTSBURGH – The Pittsburgh Penguins and Boston Bruins met for the first time on Wednesday since the Penguins were swept out of the Eastern Conference Finals in humbling fashion, scoring just two total goals in the four games.
