Penguins Rookies Win Again!

The Pittsburgh Penguin rookies had another come from behind win this afternoon in Kitchener, Ontario, as they beat the Florida Panther rookies by a score of 6-3. The Penguins gave up three goals in the first period, and scored only one on a shot by Tim Wallace at 4:35. Pittsburgh roared back in the second with three unanswered goals from Jonathan Filewich, Kyle Rank and Alex Grant to put the Penguins up 4-3 at the end of two. Brian Ihnacak and Ryan Stone converted for two more unanswered goals in the third period to seal the second victory in as many days for the young Penguins.  Defenseman Alex Grant picked up 3 points (1G, 2A) in the game, and has 4 points in 2 games.  Goaltender Bryan Curry had 27 saves, as the Penguins outshot Florida 39-30.
